Nada Abdelrahman is a distinguished Medical Laboratory Sciences graduate from the University of Khartoum, with a specialization in Parasitology and Medical Entomology. As the founder of the pioneering "Parasite" initiative, she is at the forefront of advocating for enhanced public health measures and robust laboratory systems across Africa. Her expertise and dedication have earned her a position on the British Society for Parasitology (BSP) Council, where she contributes valuable insights to the field. Additionally, Nada plays an active role in the Federation of European Societies of Tropical Medicine and International Health (FESTMIH), fostering crucial global health collaborations. With a vision that extends beyond borders, Nada's future aspirations are focused on engaging deeply in public health. Her mission is to build medical laboratory capacity and strengthen laboratory systems not only in Africa but also on a global scale. Through her work, she aims to make significant strides in improving health outcomes and advancing medical science worldwide.
